Boats, Caves, Mountains and falling water.

Marakoopa Cave, Tasmania
I can't get enough of caves. They've got alll those shapes I generally love using in my artworks. We only went to one cave but I hope to go to the rest in Tasmania one day. As well as the water falls. Can't get enough of them either. The mountain can go jump, it's just a massive money making machine, having to pay to do most things and half the walks are rather bland...but now I can say I've seen it. It's rather spikey.

Walking through the water falls and rivers; get very worried I'm going to drop my camera o_O

More and more penne

Gettin' my penne on again. Mainly because I went to the local IGA and in the true IGA tradition they have ridiculous types of various foods that people look at and think "Well whatdoyaknow, they have it like that" but veer to the side and grab their usual..in this case, who the hell wants miniature ribbed penne pasta or wholemeal pasta. I know people out there like their wholemeals but while I do these pasta things I tend to eat the uncooked pasta..and wholemeal tastes like dog food. Yea, I do know what dog food biscuits taste like. We had a dog when I was a kid, so of course..I'm gunna try that shit. But I'll clarify, it tastes like dog biscuits, not the wet slop.
Also find it interesting that Coles only sells the smooth lovely penne pasta but Woolworths only sells the ribbed penne pasta, which pisses me off, particularly when I need the smooth stuff urgently and there's only a Woolworths around. Both supermarkets don't have the fantastic 6-8 packet of super glues for $2, instead having the 2 packet of super glue for $5 claiming it sticks to anything. So does the $0.25 per tube Chicken feed stuff, I've stuck my fingers together many a time with both.
Though the stuff from South Yarra misc $2 shop..every now and then you'd get a tube that when the glue dripped on your leg it'd burn the shit out of your leg. But it stuck the pasta together so what's a burn here or there.

Wood clock

Clock I'm making for my partners 21st..which was well long ago but it's taking longer than I thought, and I'm a bloody perfectionist.
But god the wood is beautiful to work with. Such amazing colours and textures!
